disneyland-for-freeIf there’s one way to make a trip to the happiest place on earth even happier, it’s to give birthday celebrators free admission to Disneyland. There’s nothing better than getting something for free on your birthday, especially when it’s the chance to visit a theme park that normally aims to rip off families one child at a time. Now that summer is finally here it’s the perfect time for the unemployed to call in all favors and drag their friends and family out to pay full price while they waltz in for free.

The best part about getting free admission to Disneyland on their birthday is how it helps stretch the dollar. While everyone else has to deal with paying for $69 tickets plus food plus souvenirs, the unemployed know that they can basically allot $69 towards their churro budget. Or, they can buy $2.50 pickles, $5 colossal turkey legs that are always pink in the middle, $7 McDonald’s fries that would usually cost $2, or a $35 pizza when in a moment of food blindness when the unemployed decide it’d be more cost effective to buy an entire pizza rather than pay more a la carte. Whatever combination they choose, they’ll probably still have enough money leftover to buy overpriced souvenirs or pay for a picture that captured the moment the creep under the Mickey outfit whispered naughty thoughts through his big furry head.

For all those out there who cry “heartless corporation” when they think of Disney, there’s something so magical about Disneyland itself that makes one forget about their misdirected morals. Whether it’s the $10 parking (which can be avoided by pretending to be a guest at a nearby hotel and hopping on the free shuttle), the endless lines that wrap around for hours when all the Fast Passes have run out, the Star Tours ride that is delightfully cheesy but also disgustingly nauseating, or the local high school brats, there’s always something that will turn even the most doubtful Disneyland-er into a fan. Unless of course it’s not your birthday and you’re stuck paying full price. Sucker.

LOL, Anyone, not just “the unemployed”, may take a crack at having free admission… but they will not leave w/out paying a lot in food, parking, travel to get there, etc. ps~ it’s FL residents only.

If you go to CA Adventures, you can get a free bag of tortillas on your b-day. It only costs as much as waiting in line for a boring video, and you can do it mult. times a day. The pin you wear is helpful.
