hammockAfter realizing they’ve missed several weekends due to losing track of time, the unemployed will try to concentrate really hard (when not concentrating on shooting things in Halo 3) on remembering when the weekend is about to creep up again. Although every day is pretty much a weekend for the unemployed, on occasion they want to acknowledge the schedule of all them employed folk in the world - and then laugh in their face and beat them to the punch to starting the one thing they’ve been looking forward to all week: the weekend.

There’s nothing like planning a weekend getaway with people from the working world only to be able to get away earlier, beat traffic, and have more time to enjoy the break. If staying at a hotel, the unemployed like to check in as early as possible, and lounge around carefree, perhaps even naked or wearing the sole bathrobe, enjoying the quiet before everyone else gets in. Every once in a while, on the rare occasion when several unemployed friends can actually get their act together and meet up for the weekend after failing to hang out all week, they’ll make a point of showing off just how gleeful they are to have gotten away early. No matter what the weekend plans are, the unemployed friends will be motivated to band together just early enough to photograph their joy of unemployment. So the next time you hear someone groan after checking their cell phones during a long, tedious meeting at work on a Friday, you can pretty much be assured that they just received a picture message of their friends hamming it up in a hammock or something equally as nauseating just to rub in their early start to the weekend.
